Unlike many SaaS providers, Anantis prioritizes data sovereignty.
- Hosting: All personal and service data is exclusively hosted on Exoscale in Geneva, Switzerland.
- Jurisdiction: Your data is protected by the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
- No Transfers: We do not transfer your personal data outside of Switzerland or the European Economic Area (EEA).
2. Definitions & Roles
- Anantis (“We”, “Us”): The Data Controller for website visitors and our business contacts. For the TrapEye Platform data, Anantis acts as a Data Processor.
- Personal Data: Any information relating to an identified individual (e.g., name, email, IP address).
- Usage Data: Technical information collected automatically (e.g., browser type, time spent on pages).

- Account Information: When you register for TrapEye, we collect your name, professional email address, company name, and encrypted credentials.

- Logs: We collect IP addresses, browser versions, and access timestamps for security auditing and to prevent fraudulent access to the Console.
- Cookies: We use Necessary Cookies for authentication and session management. We also use Analytics Cookies to understand how visitors interact with our website.

We process your data based on the following legal grounds:
- Contractual Necessity: To provide the TrapEye service and manage your account.
- Legal Obligation: To comply with Swiss and EU laws.
